time passes

By Alan

dscn0665This was one of the last times that Katie and I looked into each others eyes.  While my parents were here I saw the picture on my dad’s camera.  It brings me so much happiness…so much sadness.  Tomorrow will be 2 months since Katie passed away.  She was so perfect and so sweet.  She is so missed.

What a beautiful photo!! Two pairs of eyes looking into one anothers in absolute adoration. You both are each others universe and that is a moment engraved in your souls forever never to be lost or forgotten. It is a powerful precious photo oozing of the most divine love of a father and of a daughter… So beautiful and yet so sad…

Love, light, and peace to yourself and Vickie this morning…

What a beautiful picture…it brings tears to my eyes. I keep writing and erasing because my words are not as eloquent as everyone else’s. But we just want you to know that we have not forgotten – we still think of you guys all the time and are praying for peace, strength and comfort for you this New Year.

I see that same look between John and Isak and I just cherish those moments with him, as well. I celebrate the beautiful life Katie graced the world with and the true love you and Vickie have for her. I must also be truthful and say that I mourn with you and weep (sometimes sob) with you. The pain I feel just from imagining what you are going through must be minute in comparison to what you feel… I have so much respect and admiration for how you are honoring Katie’s life and persevering in your faith.
    Much Love,
    Kristy Moore
